PUSHCPR™ is a public awareness campaign educating the public about bystander-continuous chest compression CPR.
YOU CAN SAVE A LIFE:
If an adult collapses from sudden cardiac arrest, we know that their survival depends on quickly starting PUSHCPR until help with an AED (automatic external defibrillator) arrives. Doing nothing means certain death. PUSHCPR involves compression-only CPR (no mouth to mouth). Just put your hands in the middle of the chest and push hard and fast. Remember, if you see someone collapse, call 911 and start PUSHCPR until help arrives. Seconds and minutes can make the difference between life and death.
If you see an adult collapse and they are not breathing two simple steps can save their life:
Call 911
Push hard, fast and repeat in the center of their chest until help arrives
