| pGz is carried out in the laboratory on an experimental animal model. This slow motion video depicts the changes in volume which occur in the rib cage and abdominal compartments with each headward to footward motion. The changes in volume of each compartment produce small changes in intrathoracic pressure and intrabdominal pressure, producing non invasive ventilation and enhancing blood flow. Additionally, this motion also produces extra pulsations on all of the blood vessels increasing pulsatile shear stress. |
